I may be wrong but the front coming in from the NW seems further south, looks good for areas south of Carlisle. Future radars just have it clipping carlisle not sure how reliable they are

If it was showing a raging easterly and a strong Atlantic low moving in from the West and hours of snow over the whole of the UK they would still be worrying about the breakdown I agree with that best to look out the window, let's not forget the met have egg on there faces to with the forecast of the low earlier on.
