  2. this winter is very unusual indeed. firstly it has been colder than the past decade or so and unlike the past 15 years we havmnt had alot of snow because in previous years we normally get one cold snap from the north bringing bands of snow that would get 6-10 inches. awell hopefully february or next winter will bring more cold and snow

  7. moderate snow here on the coast but wet so it is finding it hard to settle. and seeming as everyone except net-weather forecast rain!!! looks like remaining for this morning a possible grass covering
  8. i dont think 'global warming' is the right terms. i agree the summers are getting warmer but i think that if the heat can get perfectly well through the atmosphere so it must be able to get back out just as easily. climate is changing but how long till the next ice age and we become cold again??? global dimming is very fascinating. it is keeping us cool and without it we could get warmer. but that may be a reason why we may be getting warmer. we are using less fuels and recycling more so therefore less gas/emmisions are being let into the air. so 30 years ago we didnt care about gw and therefore we had cold winters. now the amount of polluted air is decreasing meaning more sunlight getting through which then alternativly means more heat. its just a theory and there are many more *sm06*

  18. well (using the charts from n-w) to me it looks like the seas to the south of the uk vary alot from the seas to the north! just above scotland is 12 celcius in the north sea and down in the channel it 17.5!!! 5.5 diffrence over around 500 miles so with a little more old weather these seas will cool down alot and the anomolies showing the atlantic down on average by spain.
