One of these ex-TStorms will slap us a good-un sometime soon, surely it's only a matter of time??
Anyway, back on topic: has anyone got a good link for how/why/where/when hurricanes/typhoons form. Something fairly detailed but not beyond us mere mortals??!!

The shear map indicates that once Rita passes Fl it is free to expand and reiforce without any obstacles

In the Dolomites we are expecting snow on Sunday and Monday. The quote for early snow falls will be at 1600 slm (meters). I will post the web cams of the area once the white flakes will fall B) Regarding the ski season in the last years the artificial one seemed have solve the problem for the skier :unsure:
