  1. I've mixed feelings to the upcoming spell but I do use it as an opportunity to improve my heat tolerance for a costume/cosplay hobby of mine. I can't avoid it by hiding in A/C so may as well make use of it when out fixing carparking equipment at work.

    It's a shame we don't have many places with AC so people can escape to. I don't know of any in Leeds.

    I had the lack of airflow issue too - victorian terraced houses seem to be really good at doing the opposite of what one wants in a given season.....

    I gave in a while back and brought a fleet of portable a/c units that work well but cost a bit when solar isn't topping it off. I want proper a/c but that costs about £1k/room which isn't worth the investment and the outside unit would attract attention.
