Morning all lightest of snow now falling in East Kent (Ashford), stuck my nose out of the door its absolutely bitter, shame my weather station packed up a week ago so no ideda what the temp and dp but it feels primed for a good dumping

Top post informative and succinct as ever, lets just hope this thread doesn't deteriorate into "whens it going to snow" . Mods I posted a link to this thread in the mod. discus. thread can replies in here be monitored and moved/ deleted to keep this valuable knowledge resource intact.

Interesting to note that despite the awful 6z from GFS the meto outlook updated today identifies the likelihood of wintry weather towards end of 1st week of feb for england and wales then extending to other areas, this is of course totally at odds with Mr fox's latest outlook on the beeb
