  1. The snowy Westwood does that to my dogs too :-) Looking forward to sledging in the morning. Still snowing out there but I think the wind has eased a little.

This was just from our back garden!....I darent take them on the Westwood....they'll probably dig in and we'll have to call out some sniffer dogs to find them...little sods!! :-)

I love that-get the wifes' hair dryer on the poor thing

Currently thawing in front of the fire with the dog flap SHUT!!!! :-)))
  2. Had about 5cm of snow here in Pocklington this afternoon from a heavy/prolonged spell of snow which gave an excellent depth really quickly! All eyes now to the north for the next band <_<

Yes hopefully some comes to Beverley....amazing how a short distance and a bit of elevation makes all the difference. We have only had 1 decent shower all day which has just left a few frozen flakes on the ground.

  3. but thats not good news... if mild air does get in or near, the snow will readily melt at lower levels, assuming it settles at all..

sorry to be so cynical, but ill believe all this when i see it!

Much as I would love to see lots of snow I think this is a very healthy attitude to take and if you know whats good for you you'd do the same...saves you and your kids a lot of dissapointment. Despite that I'll still be up till early hours model ( and lamp post ) watching ;) ...just in case
