  4. Evening MARK Heavy rain up this way , around half an hour ago, no lightnng or Thunder though, However, im hearing that Wylam and some parts of northumumberland are getting some storms, around seahouses nigel

  7. Temperature at 1400 this afternoon was 14.0c thats an increase of 1c since Friday, I must state that my measurements are on the shoreline , unfortunately i dont have the facilities to take the temperature out at sea , so i thiught this would be the next best thing! nigel

A layer of very Low stratus cloud moved over the North East around 1630hrs { gawd knows where that came from] anyway with this low cloud there was some heavy rainfall infact 2.6mm fell between 1731hrs and 1833hrs We did have a cold front move over the North East at 1400hrs , Dew point was reading 9.0c however 1430hrs DEW POINT dropped down to 7.1c then at 1530 DEW POINT rose back up to 10.7c {some cold front} Nigel
  10. As of 1130 this morning i recorded a temeprature of 13.0c ,thats a fall of 2.5c since last monday nigel

  12. Evening MOOGYBOOGLES Just had a quick look at my little book{how to identify weather} by Storm Dunlop {excellent book } and your image does look similar to that of CircumHorizontal Arc, Page 121. I may be wrong ! Nigel

  14. 1813hrs 5and a half hours of non stop rain and its still raining , 9.5mm has now accumulated in that period nigel

I have just measured 4.5mm rain between 1313 and 1456hrs breakdown of rainfall 1313= 0.5mm 1324= 1.0mm 1334= 1.5mm 1344= 2.0mm 1353= 2.5mm 1403= 3.0mm 1413= 3.5mm 1434= 4.0mm 1456= 4.5mm Also in this period at 1313 temp was 12.8c dropped down to 11.8c at 1456 Dew point at 1313 8.7c however this rose to 9.7c at 1456hrs nigel
  16. Im currently tracking the leading edge on radar, the leading edge looks to be in a line from Blackpool in a line down to Norwich { i reckon a couple of hours before it reaches us its also getting quite dark to the south of me nigel

Evenng Roger Im also going for a cooler winter Full moon and last quarter mid to late december Full moon December 12th Last quarter December 19th New moon December the 27th First quarter January the 4th Around December 12th , very wet and windy, with a extreme weather event {not sure where yet} December 27th to January 4th , very cold Im in the middle of doing my forecast , for winter, using this method Alot of people will probably laugh at this theory, but its working for me so far, =============== On the 15th march i mentioned to watch around June the 3rd, Look what happened on June 3rd nigel

EVENING EVERYONE Hopefully im going to be relatively quiet , for the time being anyway, and whilst im quiet ive decided to start taking physical readings {temperature wise] of the North Sea, This morning , i went over to a place called Cambois , which is just North of Blyth about 5 mins drive, along the coast , found a place to park , virtually on the beach , {luckily the TIDE was in] Anyway the time was 0800hrs, {temeprature readings were taken very close to the beach} SEA TEMPERATURE this morning was 15.5c First picture was the original , but came out to bright because of the sun second picture, settings slightly adjusted third picture adjusted even more ====================================== again sea temperature 15.5c at 0800hrs nigel
