    Nice little snow shower in Warrington..... wind has picked up as well. Agree that only a few rouge showers are getting across the Pennines looks good for an ice day tommorow though.

    The lightest snow shower about an hour ago, but nothing since in Warrington.... More chance Sat by the looks of it!!

    Certainly getting significantly heavier now, started snowing at around 4pm, looks more than a rouge shower. After a day when the early snow melted away by around midday this is a pleasant surprise. Are we looking at rather more than we expected??

    Was listenting to the local radio today and a woman called to report a tornado seen in Frodsham Cheshire. Anybody confirm this was true?

    Thanks Fender sounds good to me. Would be more than happy with that. Still not getting big flakes yet but who I am to complain at least its snowing!!!!

    Looks like rush hour is going to be a nightmare for a large swathe of the country this morning. We only need a few flakes and the roads grind to a halt!! Reading the posts this morning I think there will be a lot of people staying home today. I certainly dont think my mate is going to make it up from Hets to Wolverhampton this morning. Still yet to get going, I have no idea on radar at the moment anybody help on that one?

    It is now snowing in Wolverhampton started lightly at about 5am, slight covering on cars and road outside. Lets hope it starts to get going a bit. Certainly not as heavy as you guys further south. I do however feel that certain areas of the Midlands. ie Bromsgrove up to Staffordshire should get a good covering. You guys in Leicester need to be patient I think its on its way.

    I have a colleague travelling up from Herts to Birmingham tomorrow. He is due to meet me at 10am. Looking at the risk of disruption, do you think he would get here? I have told him of the snow risk but he seemed preety unimpressed and was still going to travel.
