  1. It's the first day of meteorological Spring, following on from the wettest February on record. The weather isn't going to suddenly change tack though and will stay unsettled for the time being. Read the full update here

  14. There is more rain in the forecast this week. Bad news for the flood-hit areas particularly Wales into the West Midlands and northern England. Storm Dennis brought huge amounts of rain hot on the heels of Storm Ciara's soaking and it has taken until today for the peak in river levels to be seen in South Wales. Read the full update here
  15. Storm Dennis is moving away taking the gales with it. The flood risk is not over yet as all of that rain makes its way down from the hills. This week looks blustery with rain and hill snow from the west. Read the full update here

There are yellow and amber warnings galore of heavy rain, flooding and severe gales across the country at the moment, even a red one for the valleys of South Wales as storm Dennis continues to wreak havoc.
