There is more rain in the forecast this week. Bad news for the flood-hit areas particularly Wales into the West Midlands and northern England. Storm Dennis brought huge amounts of rain hot on the heels of Storm Ciara's soaking and it has taken until today for the peak in river levels to be seen in South Wales. Read the full update here

Storm Dennis is moving away taking the gales with it. The flood risk is not over yet as all of that rain makes its way down from the hills. This week looks blustery with rain and hill snow from the west. Read the full update here

There are yellow and amber warnings galore of heavy rain, flooding and severe gales across the country at the moment, even a red one for the valleys of South Wales as storm Dennis continues to wreak havoc. And with river levels high and more rain falling on already saturated ground, further serious flooding problems are inevitable. Read the full update here

Storm Dennis is with us this weekend, bringing upwards of 100mm of rain in places, coupled with winds gusting 50-70mph. Disruption, thanks to both the wind and the rain is likely, with flooding expected. Read the full update here

Strong winds, wintry showers and sizeable snow accumulations over the hills of northern Britain today and tonight. Calmer tomorrow with fewer showers but more low pressures will arrive to bring spells of wind, rain and hill snow after midweek - including one at the weekend which currently looks to follow a very similar path to Storm Ciara.
