Lots of rumbles of thunder here, I think it's gone off towards the coast now
-
Just spoken to someone in Scarborough who says it is hammering down, extremely heavy rain (for those who are unsure of Yorkshire lingo )
-
13.7C with clear skies and light wind
Today saw the threat of rain (slight spots only) but turned out to be a nice sunny day with strong breeze at times, excellent clothes drying day (oh I am sad  )
-
We had a brief storm at 7pm
Thunde, not too sure about lightening, but serious downfall (4mm in 10 mins)
All quiet at the mo but having seen the radar I think there may be more
-
Flash & thunder here - rain in the distance - this is better than the football anyday
-
We've had some torrential downpours this afternoon at 2pm and 4pm
The first included a lot of hail - no thunder though
-
Currently 20.7 C outside and 22.5 inside (which is very high for our house)
Feels very humid
-
It's the Storm's revenge
Oh well, I'm sure you're not too upset to have a few extra days in the US
-
Excellent photos - they really make you feel as though you are there
Thank you so much for sharing your trip with us, I feel like we should chip in to the cost (only joking - still got my revision courses to pay for  )

Excellent Piccies Chaser
The one of the cloud rotating above you looks mighty mean, I'm not sure I would have waited to see if it was going to drop down
-
My sensor outside says its 19.6c
Warm in the sun, with high cloud and a light breeze
Bad weather for revising
-
 Excellent report Chaser
I was getting closer to the screen reading it, my heart getting faster. It someone had gone "bang" behind me I would have jumped out of my skin
Keep up the reports & can't wait to see the piccies

Great piccies Chaser
Don't think worry if you think they are less than perfect, they look fantastic as they are
-
Heavy rain half an hour ago but eased to steady moderate rain now. A lot of surface water/flooding on the roads
(why did I bother straightening my hair this morning  )
-
Very hazy - looks like the sun is trying to push through though.
Had an odd light shower earlier this morning.
-
Lovely and sunny in York, with only wispy little clouds. Lots of bare legs walking round the walls, even the odd bare top (bloke !)
-
Drying up now after a very wet start - a lot of the roads were badly flooded this morning
-
 Severe hail storm at 6.15pm tonight, just as I was going to the gym.
Roads were just a river of water & windscreen wipers no good
All dry & calm now
-
Quick hail shower - only lasted a few mins but some really tall clouds forming
-
 Extremely windy, with even stronger gusts.
Trees down, fences down and seems to be getting stronger now that night time approaches :?
-
 Sleety rain in York, just as I'm about to go home
-
Just had a brief shower in York - nothing on the radar though :?
-
 Thin layer of settled snow on the road this morning, enough to make it very skatey :?
-
Just had a wee snow shower in York - stopped for the moment but very grey up there

Lots of heavy showers this morning, followed by torrential rain at 1pm with long rumbles of thunder but alas no lightening
