i luv snow

extremely humid here, sunny; but still some cloud, and very warm- lovely summers day, if not a little uncomfortable, but hey thts summer lol

Has been dull here, but now actually starting to brighten up quite chilly tho

yeh- wicked pics!! i saw a tornado a few eyars ago in ipswich, but was froma distance and got no pics, the local news did tho- tht one looks excellent, must have been fun seeing it

i think in general all people like to see the actual wind speed in numbers, rather than just a sized arrow- the sized arrow chart used currently is fine, but inlcuding wind speed in numbers is very useful and something alot of people like to see, not just weather fanatics (aka geeks )

lol- there has been, not as regular as they use to be, which is of course slightly disappointing- and they still havent put the numbers back on- but they are there none the less there this morning as a matter of fact.LOL

i have seen loads of weather fronts and isobars on the new forecasts sean, have you not?

yes, this morning the graphics were re-tilted and you could see scotland more clearly- will keep some people happy im sure, and others still wont be happy- but scotland and the north is bigger and more visible

i still love the new graphics :lol:

nitpicking there mr JH sir yeps im sure thats what he means- erm... i do like them but again you have the same problem as with the flat, old graphics- one symbol covers hundreds of miles and so the accuracy is not very good. (ps: i still like the new ones.LOL)

the arrows have all still been coloured on the forecasts i have seen Andy

on Lookeast they have been saying a lighter shade of gold for sunshine lol the regional forecasts are much, much better now

im not being offensive here but whats strange about two people who use the forum who happen to live half a mile near each other? hardly strange

i think it was borke though- it was outdated and plain and boring- and i think an upgrade was needed, only a few people agree with me that the right one was made though.lol

4 mini thunder and lightning spells today- but they last only between 5 minutes and 30 minutes each before being replaced by glorious sun before another one came along. Thunder was quite loud too actually and it went really, really dark with big, black/greay clouds and moderate to heavy rain.

massive storm here last night

yes after a pretty impressive night-time thunderstorm last night (with heavy rain, lots of thunder and lightning and aqually winds according to family) still didnt wake me up, despite waking everyone else up in the house.lol Today around about half siz we had a thunderstorm with thunder, lightning and heavy rain and we had a hail storm earlier on with only a few rumbles of thunder

Well there is 4cm on the ground here in Ipswich after alot of showers last night. And by the looks of the radar there is more to come heres my reports from last week, as i didnt have enough time to post them then: between last sunday and monday, we had no more than a 2cm slight covering on the ground- although i recorded 40 snow heavy snow showers, and ten light ones during daylight hours alone. During the week we had snow showers every day right up until wednesday night, when snow turned to rain- wednesday morning had a depth of 10-12cm in the morning though, which is the most here in ten years. During tuesday and wednesday i recorded 21 heavy, prolonged snow showers, with only a few light scatterings. Thursday night we only had sleet, but we had a few sno showers on friday, but notghing to write home about. Yesterday was a very wet day with rain showers nearly all mid-day but come evening and ppn turned to snow again, and overnight we must have saw a good few showers as we have 4cm on the ground, with more to come by the looks of the radar

we are having another light snow shower here now

just had a light, albeit very brief snow shower here. Its currently 0.3oC here (windhcill of -5oC and dewpoint of -5.5oC)

Had two snow showers here this morning, the first one at 9am which i woke up to, was actually heavy. Nothin since...,,,,yet.lol cold here all day with current temp at 0.7oC

Dont know if this counts but Ipswich saw a 5 minute snow shower at about 3pm and then some sleety showers afterwards- but thats it ! LOL :lol:

would love to be reporting snow this morning but i cant.lol! instead just a frost with temps just under -4oC outside freezing! in fact its colder now than it was right up to 6am this morning when the temp stuck at -3oC

it has jus started lightly snowing here in Ipswich! About time! lol only very lightly though- not much

-4oC here last night, the frost was so thick it also looked like snow at first glance- now startn 2 de-thicken (if thats a word.lol )
