Im sorry but that is absolute rubbish and very disappointing especially so as you work for MetCheck. If my memory serves me correctly didn't they say a 1 in 8 chance of a summer possibly on par with 2003? I regret to say this but your fired! :lol:

its been proved that seasonal outlooks generally are wrong if i recall the met office saying this was going to be the hottest summer on record??

When will you be issuing your autumn forecast? :o
we don't have an autumn forecast as such but we do mention the seasonal outlooks on the homepage articles

yup I agree,
can you explain rob28081991 why rainfall can see extreme at times?
hiya this is usually a fault in the GFS run, sometime things can go haywire and usually if things look extreme on the site, they generally are wrong, this is usually rectified by the next run

Well my ideal climate is in New York as they get the best of both extemes
They get well below zero temps in winter and loads of snow and blazing hot summers with plus 40 temperatures!!

i think around 17.2c if the warm spell forecast by TWO hapenens midmonth

well a pretty rubbish start to the day, very hazy and humid at 14c

weather looks to very nice in the south and east wouldnt be suprsied if temperatures exceed 25c

its very stange for them to go down all day, i agree with you that the server has gone down, hopefully all be fixed soon

Metcheck seems to of completely died, anyone got a clue whats happened, i noticed they were experiencing problems yesterday as the server status was coming up as red for everything and as of 9am this morning the site hasnt woke up??
Anyone heard anything??

hi all,
yes we appear to having issues, all server work is now done and the site went live as planned at 5pm, one isssue is that its not gone online to public, only staff that are logged in appear to be able to view the site, we are working on a fix and will bring you metcheck asap
