    Good to see everyone so optimistic. After 3 separate sleepless nights lamppost watching, my optimisism has slightly faded. Considering there are still 3 days away for downgrades or indeed upgrades to take place, I am now going to hold back until 24hrs before the event itself... (oh and I am not supporting the above by any weather readings just simply the last set of experiences!)

    Temp here 2 degrees with a dew point of 0 degrees. Unless temps drop by another degree, it is going to be very marginal if indeed that band comes towards us!
