    Well the snow shower has pretty well ended, still some grains coming down but the sky is brightening up. We had about 10 minutes of heavy snow which has given us a nice dusting. Hopefully some more heavy stuff to come.

    Just started snowing here in Brum, very light at the moment.

    We had .5 cm's covering here when I woke up; but unlike yesterday it's stuck everywhere - dry not half melted. And according to the radar another band of showers about to imminently hit. 9:00am We got hit by showers again at 8:40, light to begin with, but now moderate.

    Well it has just started up with a vengeance, and we now have a dusting. My son is down stairs again, my wife had got him down, and we've all been out in the road running round with our tongues out.

    And now it has stopped. If I hadn't of rushed out when I saw the Wolverhampton posts I'd have missed it. Unfortunately I woke my eldest biy up and dragged him down stairs to see it, and now I've had to persuade him back up again. The car is covered in very small but compact snow grains. Hopefully its the start of the front, and we'll get a lot more soon.

    And here in Birmingham. Very fine at the mo, but while its too early to say whether we'll have any coverage, its not wet or sleety, quite the opposite in fact.

    we are having a sleet shower here in Birmingham. Started off as rain, but quickly turned to sleet, and now looks like snow. But it is very wet on the ground, and I'm presuming the temp is too high to allow it to settle. Shows no inclination of settling anyway. Started at 10:00 and is still going now, some 20 mins later.
