    Aww...gutted! The Medway Towns have had mentions even on the National Forecasts today but it looks like we'll miss all the action. May as well go to bed then Good luck to those getting hit - not at all jealous - actually hate snow really

    Anything expected in my neck of the wood anytime soon? Been up since 5am, so just wondering if it's worth staying up lamp post watching, or just go to bed and keep everything crossed for tomorrow? Lovely too see all the great posts from Ashford, Herne Bay etc. If you have to drive, please be careful! Thanet Way now closed London bound at Herne Bay due to an accident and I have a horrible feeling this won't be the only one over the weekend

    Thanks to you too Maidstone Weather - glad I decided to work from home today as getting home from Maidstone on Wed evening was a total nightmare! Hope we all get the snow we are hoping for :-)

    If the next shower is heading towards Maidstone - will we get any of it in Rochester? I'm sorry for asking stooopid questions but I may as well look at tea leaves than the weather radars - make no sense to me whatsoever !

    Looks like we had a small amount of new snow overnight in Rochester, but nothing at all today. Is there some more on the way or is our main worry just the iced up snow sticking around for a while?

    Snowing very heavily for the past 15 minutes or so in Rochester - probably a cm or two already (on top of yesterday evenings snow). Top of Bluebell Hill, so expect it will hit Maidstone too in the near future!

    Blimey! As much as I'm loving this cold spell and the snow, I hope it's all gone away by the end of the month or I might not be able to go on holiday :blink:

    Hello, if the snow we're having in Rochester is heading your way - leave your car where it is! Just had the scariest drive home from Maidstone! Went from nothing to cars being abandoned in 45 minutes!

    Good morning folks! Only a covering in Rochester so will be off to work in Maidstone in a bit. Just seen the bbc forecast and it looks like I might be in for more smow, any experts around Who can predict when and how much? Thanks

    Weird huh? I'm near bluebell hill so we are at opposite ends of Rochester so to speak and neither of us has snow. Mate just posted pics of snow in paddock wood so coming our way hopefully!

    Re: TN9's pic of the snow dusting on Bluebell Hill - that really does prove how localised this is, I'm no more than half a mile away from the camera and have had no snow at all! Am keeping my fingers crossed for better snow during the week :-)

    Sky filled in again in Rochester - maybe more snow on the way? Gonna take the dog out in a mo as she LOVES the snow. If I get any good pics, will try to upload them here later.
