    Yup, raining here in Charnwood too, on top of yesterday's all day snow event with zero accumulations.

    The snow must be very localised - I work in the centre of Leicester and there was nothing. It settled then it melted and came to absolutley nothing. I drove home thinking there would be something 'out in the sticks' and still nothing. I've seen ten minute showers deposit more settled snow than I've seen today. There were odd bits here and there but really nothing approaching 10cm. 2cm at most.

    Well in Leicester it snowed all day but I have to say we didn't get 10mm let alone 10cm. All the paths and roads are clear and it felt like a rainy day really - quite a disappointment.

    My first post - just to say in boring Charnwood, Leicestershire its been chucking it down with RAIN since around 6.00 am.
