Just now, Severe Siberian icy blast said:
You can see it taking shape toward the southwest as I mentioned earlier but last 30 min or so it's building in size and strength, I'm very low where I am but still hoping, if we can get it from 5pm onwards it's game on but I think for low areas before that it's a know goer.
Brum will do well out of it though
Trying to be optimistic here too (just down the road from you in Tiddington).

sleet here, just making everything wet. The last weather report I saw on TV didn't have accumulations here so I am not expecting anything,
it doesn't even feel particularly cold.
-
Central weather not going for anything settling here.
-
Snowing quite hard here but not settling like others have said.
-
Trying not to get excited but...

we had a snow flurry too.

Fog never cleared here today - now thickening up again.

Nothing here but I didn't expect any. Great to see everyone's pictures!

They are heading SE I think.

BBC just showed showers pushing further inland.

Good to see showers heading further inland even if they aren't in my direction. Should mean the NW of our region does well.

Nothing here I don't think it will make it past Stoke. Not had anything this winter. Cold is nice though.
Totally agree. I think Stoke is the place to be, but the rest of us need to wait for another day (or another cold snap!)

I'm still not expecting many showers to make it particularly far into the Midlands on Tues/Weds.

Just seen the radar, couple of patches heading inland. Any ideas how far it would get?
I could be wrong but I don't think they will reach us as they are weakening as they head inland.

I think the Cheshire Gap will be kind to many in our region, for me personally, I think we are just in the wrong spot.

raining here near Stratford.

We have had 8 days of lying snow so we have been very lucky.

Heavy rain in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Radar says sleet but can’t see anything wintry in it.

Yeah, we can forget about it here now in the West Midlands, the outlook isn't too inspiring either.
But I am rooting for those further east. We had our fun just after Christmas so it would be nice to see you have some too.
That snowfall from the 28th December onwards is proving to be more and more lucky as it goes further into history...because despite the potential shown, it really has just been very slowly downhill since.
This is a winter that seems to be slowly deteriorating rather than a disaster from start to finish. So that's an improvement on previous years...I guess?!
Some of us in the West Midlands have still yet to see proper snow!

Has stayed foggy here all day and temperature not risen above -2. Very frosty and wintery looking.

Cold crisp nite looks on offer cant see much on the radar troubling us. Hope a nice frost forms over the lying snow ❄. Thursday looks like our next chance but still unsure on track.
Wish I had snow for it to form on!

Raining here in Stratford. We didn’t even have frost last night! Tiny sprinkling of snow yesterday morning. We struggle with elevation here so need quite particular circumstances for snow.
