    From swinton, so just outside of Rotherham, and there is nothing but sleety rain here. I expected sheffield to have snow due to there higher elevation. Oh well,

    Dont think this is going to happen for south yorkshire/North Midlands. Its just throwing it down with rain and the odd bit of sleet. Oh my lovely snow from yesterday is just getting washed away (all 2 cm of it ) Anyone any ideas if this is set to turn to snow?> Andy

    Brief note, its not snowing in swinton, south yorkshire, but infact very fine rain with a bit of sleet. Paul hudson says a lot of snow to come, but I dont think this is going to come off. Nice to see these forums are still going too! Not posted here for what seems like ages. Andy Allen
