    Very chilly, 2c and drizzle. Wind has gone for the moment though.

    After it calmed down last night, the wind is definitely back! Branches flying past every so often and the river doing it`s best to flood again.

    Snowing here, but not lying. Pressure down to 948mb, a lot lower than last week.

    It was -8c when I got up at 5.30, now pink sky and snowing slightly.

    The wind seems to be actually increasing here. Stuff bouncing off my tin roof. The nice quiet burn 3 ft away from the side of the house has turned into a raging river. Worried about that one.

    Hi HC, yes I am.My weather station not that great either, but that`s what it`s telling me. But whatever the pressure, pathetic sums it up quite well! :-)

    It hasn`t stopped snowing here all day! At the moment very heavy and a sharp wind, 1c.

    Heavy snow and a stiff breeze. Several inches have fallen since last night. Temp -1c. Snowplough has been, but so far only 4 cars have passed.

    Am enjoying the sneachd, but it`s going to making leaving the glen in a wee while very interesting. Gritter has been twice, but the road is barely visible and the white stuff is still coming fast!

    Hi NorthernRab, I have to admit being a white settler. I agree, there are sooooo many beautiful parts in Scotland, but I am rather fond of this part. It`s so diverse and still wild in places.

    Surprisingly there is no weather warning for the Highlands on Traffic Scotland and no routes affected by the weather? Looking out the windows tells me something very different.

    Snowing heavily and -3c. We`ve had about 1.5" and it doesn`t look like it`s going to stop anytime soon.
