Help!!! Could someone who knows a little more than me attempt to help me out! A few days ago the forecast temps for looking good for no snow in Oslo on Chritmas Eve....so i placed quite a big bet on this! Now things are looking a little more marginal. Looking at the GFS 850's, it looks as if temps will be around -2 - -4, with weather coming in from the west, wrapped around the high pressure! It also looks like a little low is gonna form around the high - not sure if this would bring any precipitation? But with temps marginal............... I could lay the bet off and get out of it or should I stick with it?! Your thoughts would be most welcome! Cheers in advance............

To all people fancying a festive flutter!!! Bet365 are offering odds of 10/11 on "no snow on christmas eve in Oslo"..........Looking at current model outputs, temperatures on christmas eve in Oslo look likely to be in the 4 - 8C range - way to warm for snow......Fill your Christmas boots!

light snow here in bramley, leeds. starting to settle a little now

In Huddersfield it rained all morning and washed all last nights snow away. About half an hour ago, out of nowhere, instant blizzards. The temperature has dropped 3c in that time to -1c. About an inch on the ground and there is that wooshing sound, amongst the silence that comes with heavy snow. Long may it continue!!

Raining in west yorkshire..... gutted!!

The temperature rose from 0.3 C to 1.6C as the front came in here in Huddersfield. Now been snowing lightly for about half an hour and the temperature has started to drop again. Brilliant!!!

I caught in a a complete white out today (3 pm) in the north Yorkshire moors. Only just managed to make it over the tops with at least an inch of snow on the road, with near white out conditions! Absolutely brilliant!!!
