Here's another one: When the wind is in this quarter (S.S.W) at Martinmas, it keeeps mainly to the same point right on Old Candlemas Day (February 14th), and we shall have a mild winter up to then and no snow to speak of -VERIFIED IN 1869 As November 21st,so is the winter.     Thanks coldfingers.I am pleased I caught this sunset well.Since moving to the country-side I have a beautiful view from outside my window overlooking a field which has magnificent sunsets and spectucalar clouds. I am just waiting for the snow and the storms now lol. I must of took about 20 photos and it wasen't until it started getting dark that I could actually capture the lovely orange and reds of the sunset. Jane
