  1. Seems a bit localised today.... we had about 6" here in Lanark this afternoon - now have 10" of lying snow! Snow was so deep when I got home from work that I made a full car track in our road, not just tyre tracks - and yet only a few miles up the road there was only what looked a couple of inches lying. Still, I'm not complaining - pity I have to go to work - why couldn't we have had this next week, when I could have avoided a 400 miles trip to the out-laws????
  2. Bit disappointed that it bottomed out at 931.9 hPa, and didn't dip below 930. Still, there's always tomorrow night, which promises to be a similar level depression across us
  3. This is really starting to annoy me..... this is my sixth winter in Scotland - you know, that place that is supposed to be in the frozen north, with snow all the time - and so far hardly any snow. This is a total non event - there were about 4 flakes on my car this morning, and now it's bright again. Even the mountains were devoid of snow last weekend when we should have been having fun with crampons and ice axes. Grrrr! Bet we don't get any on Saturday either - and I was hoping to go skiing this weekend....
