  1. Notice how the first few hundred metres from the ground are colder than above. It even goes into the +10C teritory at 800mb. Ask people from Ireland this week if its 'genuine' cold.

  6. Thunderstorms here in Galway since 4pm this evening its been almost non stop since then, spectacular lightning and hailstones floods all over the place and looking at the radar there is lots more to come.
  7. Hi Guys Here in Galway on the West Coast of Ireland its very bad now. the wind speed is showing gusts over 70mph on my weather machine and the Barometer is falling very fast its showing 977 MB, the Irish Met Office say the wind will get stronger up to around 1am. Brian
  8. Hi Guys Spectacular lightning tonight in Galway City on the West Coast of Ireland. Looking out over Galway Bay to the South it was brilliant, it has lasted for over 3 hours with no rain. Brian
  9. Hi Guys I am new to this board but I am getting in this photo at the last minute. I took it at Salthill Irelands largest holiday resort on the West Coast of Ireland. The picture was Thunder clouds forming over Galway Bay at Sunset at 17.49 on the 14th of February 2006. Brian
