Lovely day here yesterday and the sun has broken through this morning. Tomorrow morning looks a bit wet!

A beautiful day, I headed out to Leith Hall Gardens where it was lovely and warm under blue skies with an occasional breeze.

Precipitation seems to have finished here. Was still falling as wet snow this morning but no accumulation. Thawing now but still plenty on the ground.

Merry Christmas All! We had some snow about 7.30pm that covered all surfaces. We seem to have had more white Boxing Days recently here than Xmas Days.

Temperatures now at their highest for a number of days at just below freezing (-0.5c) - maybe the Met Office forecast for sleet overnight may actually have some truth behind it!
Still seems strange though to have warmer weather coming in from the north.
During day hovering around -2c with a strengthening NNW wind.
Surely any sleet would be on the immediate coast. I think you'll keep the snow.
