Clear skies here too

I am finding myself glued to this computer chair
Again!

The sferic are only as accurate as the data put into them, I think IoW detector has not been calibrated recently. As far as I can tell NW detector is data from members detectors so if everyones detectors are slightly out of calibration the information when triangulated and plotted on the map the bigger the error.
Maybe Paul or Nick can confirm my suspicions. Until then i chose to only use it as a guide.
There is a chance!
Thanks

picks most of it up. Get nw lightning detector its DEADLY accurate from all the lightning stations in the uk

I Think there is a definite pattern about America's weather and then ours, And would like to patent an idea ive had for a few yrs so wont go into details
We dont need to imagine how it would be for the UK to experience such scale of snowfall as per Washington for e.g.
2-3inches here seems gives the same effect as epic snowstorms in the US. no trains, buses, schools closed, panic buying
Being Generous hehe 1-2 inches more like lol
-
lol @ deleting post.. More caffeine needed?
stratosphere forecasting I have no idea on but yes, That low would still pick up a SE-ly or Easterly
If we do drag the colder NE air towards our shores that would easily become modified over the North Sea
Theres some good height rises over Greenland too which would support Northern Blocking. Incredibly interesting time and would also follow suit with the recent snowstorms that happened in America. Seems a week or 2 after USA has something, UK follows suit (on a generally lesser scale id like to point out before this is seen as a snowramp lol)
lol Thankgoodness! Imagine if we had the amount they got!!
I keep thinking that about America that we seem to get their leftovers

Cool we shall all have to wait and see

Light snow here. Just a passing shower
Think it's lightly raining here!?

Nope , bad wind direction ( North/north west )
My weather station not positioned well for the wind Mine says NE-E.
Temp 2.1 and Dew Point -1.0
Where is the best place to get a wind reading?
It's quite blowey outside, clouds are whizzing across the sky!

Hi,
Models predicting temps of around 6-8 by Sunday so it feel less cold.
However some are suggesting the Mongolian/Siberian High (lol thats how big that high is!) may back West into midweek which 'may'
give us colder temps again...Not as cold as the previous start to this cold spell but certainly
back to -1 -2 by night. How long that lasts is up in the air at present.
Im just enjoying the current weather which I find great....fog, light snow, temps of between 0 and 2
:winky:
Thanks !
I love all this weather stuff all so unpredictive, it does what it wants and no one can change it :winky:

Is it defo going to warm up? How much confidence do you have that it will? and when are we looking at to see an increase slightly in the temps and dew points?
