ayr here again and its still +1.1 on weather station and its been drizzle not snow for past 5 hours off and on very disapointing hopefully the direction off the front coming down from the moray firth at mom with the heavy precipitation will meander this way cause this is just mince - i know its the gulf stream here but no snow so far this :wallbash:winter apart from a flurry monday morning

temp dropping to 1.7 *c from 1.9*c in last 10 mins it might lie on the frosty parts of the garden the sun didnt get tot today also strange the radar doesnt show anytthing for us here ! -
been lookling at the meteox rainfall radar and it is starting to break up badly all along the southern side of the front and not make it passed glasgow
its also gone up to 1.9*c from 1.1 in last hour -
like it delta its so true tho
*************BREAKING NEWS*******************Reports are coming in of an extreme weather event gripping most of Scotland.
Eyewitnesses say between 1 - 2cm of snow has fallen on surfaces.
Our reporter contacted the UK Met Office to ask how much snow was expected to fall. A spokesman for the Meto said "What are you talking about. We don't know anything about any snow?"

thats it finally clouding over in ayr so hope fully around 5-6 pm would be good temp still sready 1.1*c
anyway away to pick rugrat from school bye for know -
still cold in ayr 1.1*c at mom and blue skies latest rainfall radar puts precip line into glasgow so moving south painfully slowly

ayr has missed all the snow so far this winter however this am is cold -5 on my weather station and the signs for later look good with band coming south around dusk. the rainfall radar shows good levels of precipitation up north -fingers crossed after yesterdays damp squib!!!!

well ayr here in western scotland
got nienti ,zilch snow this week i went up to inverness and aberdeen on wednesday and stayed in perth which got snow wed night nut it was slush by 8am on thursday it was well over hyped mind u it was rain at +0.5*c and the weather man said 0.5 less and it would have been snow!! -

sleet in derby all day till 3pm started snowing wet everywhere ,heavy snow at 4.30 pm and is white eveywhere now and approx 3cm

Snow falling very heavy here (Mickleover) with thick flakes. Definitely sticking - i'd say about 2cm but building up quickly.
Went to Cannock Chase this afternoon - some very heavy snow there - i reckon about 10cm away from the roads but the roads were getting a bit dicey too. Not sure how it is there now!

yes drizzling in Derby, and the snow is thawing out. Temp is hovering around 2C
its just starting to turn with the odd flake of snow in it now !!!

According the radar it's Snowing here. Err nope. Cold though.

Derby kind of missed out yesterday also - we had about an inch - but over the space of about 8 hours. There must've been more overnight as i just took my 3 year old out and there was about 2 inches on the ground plus minor roads were covered again.
Wasn't expecting anything today so if its going to come this far it will be a bonus.
well its raining here in allestree at 1.45am not good especially as we only got an inch at best yesterday!!!!!

finally a covering in ayr overnight it was wet at 11pm last night ,looks like thats it know tho from the radar but ne scot getting loads webcam for granton on traffic scotland was white out no road to be seen <_<
