    Met Office are going for Heavy snow for bristol at midnight if you check there weather chart. It was only updated less then 2 hours ago so I doubt much has changed since then. Fingers crossed

    This is odd, Matt is right because I watched the BBC forecast aswell and there wasn't much in the way of snow shown on there graphics. But did anyone see the ITV forecast? They said there could be up to 10cm of snow in parts of the South and SW?? I thought that was slightly too exaggerated but I dont know where there getting that from.

    Still seems too good to be true Been snowing all day light most of the time but moderate and heavy showers mixed in. The BBC didn't say anything about Thursday but my local ITV are predicting "More persistant snow on Thursday" I couldn't believe it. Still snowing now

    I can only remember one occasion where we've had snow this heavy and pitch this quick. That was like 6 years ago, very good signs. better be out in it now ha

    You got the NW Radar? Its about 30 mins away but it looks like its heading the north of the WC and gloucester area

    If this next blob of showers line up correctly it could give some of the west country around a 45 minute moderate shower, enough to make a covering. Probs will miss us thought but I got my eye on it.

    Still confused as to way the GFS is progging Moderate/Heavy snow later tonight for the same west, they seem to be dying out.

    The South East corner must be pasted, the showers dont stop coming in.

    Well apparantly Roger says it will be our turn tonight and he has the GFS to back him up. I think its something to do with the milder sector because it actually helps us a little.

    Yeah thats true at the moment we have about 1mm though, so Im just waiting for a few heavy showers and tonight.

    Well the gfs looks amazing, really hope it comes off. Light fine snow here falling at the moment, white patches in the grass maybe 0.2cm

    Wow nice pics.. How deep would you say it is there? Im not very good a judging measurements but Im guessing thats around 3 inches?

    You know alot more then me but I thought you were in the hot spot for tomorrow night? When I seen the bbc forecast the graphics covered most of the midlands but only just scraped some of the SW. But I dont think anyone knows, but I gotta admit I was looking forward to waking up and seeing snow falling. I haven't seen day snow for agessssssssssss.

    At the moment its looking like somerset wont see anything but theres always hope, and next winter.
