Not long now till that snow in the N.Sea hits the coats of EA/SE

The snow that is forecast for tomorrow afternoon, i really do think it will remain as snow for EA,maybe a little sleety in the SE. Could see ALOT of snow tomorrow!!!!

For those worried about NE Essex chances of snow, normally in this kind of set ups This part of the coastline tends to do fairly well as the colne estuary generates its own snow showers too which fall over colchester and the surrounding areas

There is one hell of a snow shower just to the north of me, someone must be getting pasted from it! Convection is really evident here!

Afternoon all
It is bitterly cold here in Colchester with a few snow flakes blowing in the wind. I am quite confident of some VERY heavy snow tomorrow afternoon say from around 3pm onwards for East Anglia and Parts of the South East, could see a further 10-20 cms easily ontop of what falls tonight. I really do think if it remains on the right side of marginal, Some coastal districts, Especially across North East/South East Essex and places along the thames could see some very deep snow out of this

A dry, cold and mostly sunny day here in Colchester whilst i was here until around 12:00. I have been in Lowestoft, Yarmouth and Norwich for the afternoon and it was snowing quite heavily there with some laying snow in sheltered places. On the way back to essex from Norwich there were Blizzard Conditions with about 1-2" of laying snow around the Long Stratton Area and northern Suffolk

still snowing lightly here in colchester, has been snowing since 8:30am this morning with some very heavy snow between 9-11:30
Ended up with about 2" on lying snow, fantastic scenes here right now!!!!!!

Has been a fantastic morning here in North East Essex, with the end snow amout at 12:00 about 2". Had some very heavy snow around 10:30 which boosted the snow totals up. Here are a few pictures from when i went out for a walk.

Frequent hail and snow showers here in Colchester, another shower coming over as i type!

Very thick fog here, seemed to appear out of no-where in a matter of 5 mins!

Woke up to a dusting of snow this morning, temps around 1.2c. The cold spell delivered a little snow here in Essex but to be fair i did not expect much from this particular cold spell

Overnight snow showers left a dusting this morning, temps arounf 1.2c

About 2-3cms here in Colchester this morning, had some fairly heavy snow showers too around 6:30am

Same here mate, Im in Colchester not far from town and there is quite a covering already! Tomorrow should be interesting to say the least
