It's actually headed south over the last two hours, but starting to pivot. Lots of heavier echoes to the east and south of us. Patience should pay off, and it'll be colder when it arrives. (Hopecasting?)

How frustrating is that stubborn, wavy approaching front for Nottingham folk. Something similar happened on Friday, until the system pivoted and headed north. Still, we'll be getting the heavy stuff long after its cleared Leicester!

Met Office only going as far as Friday night. Predicted snow depths suggest that system could push Eastwards over Notts and Lincs on Sat and Sun. Further warnings to follow, though met office confidence is still low.
