Trying to work out what's falling out of the sky. Seems to be raining, sleeting and snowing all at the same time. Just can't see why it can't be either/or lol....

I must admit that i was unaware this event would be height sensitive to the point of no accumulation for some.
That said, here in BD19 (my current little Cul-De-Sak is about 170m) the Met Office forecast looks correct. This initial band has produced about 3 inches (not found my ruler yet) and with the triple point yet to arrive the intensity should increase and the temperature should drop so the amber warning for 10-20cm will prove correct here making this the heaviest fall since 2018 (12cm or below) or 2013 (16cm or below). The amber warning should have probably caveated about 100m by the sounds of it.
Yes, that's not how the system is angled.
What time period are we looking at for the triple point?

My kids are in Silsden School. They messaged last night that they will close at 1.30pm. A bit late for me...12noon the latest it should have been...

Getting heavier here now. Flakes are getting bigger.....

Got more than light flurries here. Settling on all surfaces. The layer from last night is helping…..

Has tomorrow's feature hit the satellite yet? If so, any early thoughts on the track?
-
How will, with what’s happening right now, affect tomorrow’s feature?

I'm supposed to be going to Nottingham on Thursday, looks like I'll be in the snow at some point, regardless of any southward corrections lol....
