    Morning. Going by the posts of the model thread, plenty of rain for us around the Bristol area. The snow seems to have gone north.

    As I said Metcheck showing snow from midnight wednesday to midnight friday for Bristol. When you check the snow risk charts, it shows snow from thursday at 18.00. Very confusing.

    Yes agree. But from these situations in my location, waking up to the sound of cars passing through puddles in the morning is so common.

    Good chance of heavy rain for the Bristol area if you ask me. Mectcheck going for HEAVY snow early hours of Thursday, then light to moderate snow all day, and all day Friday................mmmmmmm Cant see it.

    Had the same amounts of snowfall here as you. Im not IN Bristol. 12 miles south. Just hate half day events with a quick thaw. Good covering here now still snowing.

    For some reason knowbody trusts ITV!!! Depends what they mean by SW, is that plymouth or penzance? They are crap, Im not sure what forcast models they use! I would describe Bristol as SW of the UK, but really it isn't, if you know what i mean!!!

    Read my post, no snow for bristol and north somerset TONIGHT. ITS CALLED THE WEATHER FORCAST ON BBC 1 NEWS. IF YOU LOOK A THE RADAR AND WIND DIRECTION THIS CAN BE SEEN CLEARLY.
