    Temperature dropping like a stone here in Cheshire. Fallen 2.5 degrees in about 15 minutes, and currently lashing down rain/hail mixture. Wind is really starting to whistle.

    Central Cheshire (Dealmere) 500 ft asl It has been snowing heavily for the last 3+ hours, and there's currently 3 inches or so lying on the ground/trees/rooves/anything else. No sign of it slowing down at all. Magnificent Stuff!!

    Light snow is falling steadily in Chorleywood, Hertofrdshire. Sticking on the paths/roads already - fine, granular, arctic type snow. 333 feet asl.

    Very, very light snow has just started to fall in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire - not even enough to constitute a shower, but its a start! 333 feet above sea level. Temp 1.6c
