latest bbc forecaster now going for snow and showing it on the graphics 10-20cm in the se please happen thats all i can say shows it spreading quite far west on sunday but less snowfall the further inland you are.
-
and just like the buses here, it's late arriving!
PS BBC graphics are bone dry for Sunday!
vice versa to the forecast after newsnight this time said heavy show and the map showed nothing, do they not know whats meant to be behind them

latest forecast after newsnight goes for rain in se corner but shows heavey snow on the map
-
bbc forecast dosent look to dramatic for sunday atm, getting a bit fed up these forecasts are all over the place
-
what i still find astonishing is that the bbc forecast shows a different thing on every section, uk wide map, local map, the list of hours, 5 day forecast lol
its just so incoherent
-
weekends looks disappointing now
-
do we have any idea whats going to happen this weekend realistically looking at all sources it still seems up in the air?
-
its so sunny outside is snow forecast still?
-
are we thinking north west london will get something tomorrow?
-
Indeed. As a gardener, I'd estimate that in 2009 summer, the slug/snail population was about 40% of what it had been the previous 2 summers. And I got the best crop of garlic (planted autumn 2008) I've ever had — still using it now after 5 months, I put it down to the low temps in Jan/Feb last year.
i have a sort of palm tree sort of plant dont know how to describe it not sure how its going to hold up lol, up until december though even the summer flowers were still doing well now they are frozen mush
-
you know they always talk about foreign species and bugs and things that attack our plants and wildlife surely this cold snap will do wonders to kill them all off lol?
-
my dad went for a drive at about 10 and said already the main road which were gritted were getting quite icy
-
sky news showed heavey snow for the weekend
-
I thought the wind had picked up more!
your my fave forecaster whatever you say happens in st albans happens here soon after
-
The main roads are drivable if you haven't got a BMW, the worst car I've seen for snow! so many of em cause chaos on my hill outside. Was funny watching an old micra overtake one.
All the side roads are deep, at least 6" to over a foot depending on cover. Hardly anyone out on the roads though. Tree has fallen on a power line near guildford somewhere which has cut power for a lot of people around here, luckily mine is back on, for now.
this is true well most rear wheel drives my friend said his dad jaguar was bad and then i watched the news and all they showed was jaguars skidding
