Hmm Im afraid my confidence level is very low. This is almost a replay of yesterday and with the same timings too! I fear the channel will kill anything off in the next hour or two.. SST's are too cold at the moment to sustain the storms.

In which case mesoscale another bust, let's face it, if this were mid June/July and average day temps were 27/28 then it might be a little more likely to happen!

Total bust along here, just been sat in the car on the over cliff in Bournemouth, not a sniff of anything distant or close by bar convective rain!

Expecting nothing down here in central southern England on the coast to be honest. Hope for something later in the year, we are very dependant on imports here rather than home grown stuff.
