So how strong is this storm gonna be and is it gonna cause much damage?

clear,sunny and cold temperatures struggled to get past 5c today No frost though even though i had a minimum of around 1c not even on the car....... hope it will snow soon

currently 3.5c here in runcorn (Santa just passed by collecting money) didn't give me anything =( last night got down to around -1c but should of dropped more there was no cloud around today at all and the temperature struggled to get past 5c very chilly, there was still ice at 12.30pm

i looked at the precipitation chart and on christmas eve till boxing day it has snow/sleet for around here :lol:
hehehe good look with that but i dont think any site can predict that far ahead to be honest

Please answer my question people =) last night on the min temp list it shows stornoway, scotland getting down -17c is this right or a malfunction???

i just checked St Albans on it for christmas eve, it says very cold rain/sleet /snow with ice mixed in
it says that for my area too i hope they are right soooo fingers crossed!!!

pfffff global warming my butt, summertime this june and july were cold and wet if global warming is true then why arnet we have a scorching summers or winters??? its all baloney if you ask me!!! =P

looking at the globe shaker thing the only place with a decent chance of a white is scotland with a 50% chance every where else has a 25% lol

That's quite remarkable as there's nothing on the nw radar archive for Runcorn this afternoon and the temperature was 8ºC...
no we really did, it wouldnt appear on the nw radar because the flurry was soooo light!!

we had a light wet snow/sleet flurry this afternoon temp dropped around 3c in 10 mins

Evening all just got back from warrington but on the way there the temp dropped very rapidly and it quickly clouded over then to my amazement i saw a light flurry of WET SNOW YAY!!!!! first of this winter so far!!!

Met office never extend there alerts and the weather forcasts are always wrong

woke up to the very finest of dustings this morning at 5.30am then i woke at 7.35 and although the temperature was 0.6c all the frost and snow had gone lol currently 3.2c out here not a cloud in the sky!!

i can predict that over the next few days temperatures could top 15c although its 3.2c here at the moment
i know the clodest temperature ever recorded was minus 37.8c for england in 1970s

At a stab in the dark, I would say its not cold enough
its 2.9c is that not cold enough for snow?? it is!!

2c here currently its now cloudy though and frost on cars and roofs beginning to melt . no ground frost last night though
