I love sport I am an Aston Villa season ticket holder. Also enjoy hammer horror films (I know very sad). Always had an interest in the weather since I was about 3. Used to pretend to do weather forcasts using an atlas and a knitting needle! Prefer cold weather and adore snow. I would also love to meet Dan Corbett. What a man. That is everything.....for now

  1. sheikhy Strange it is still there when I check. The warning area for rain misses us both so hopefully it stays that way
  2. A yellow warning now out for heavy rain for some of us tomorrow.
  3. Georgina Milder shot Sunday then cold at least until next Weekend
  4. My 47 years of experience tells me that at this stage it's probably just down to now casting. The models are a guide but nice surprises/disappointments could easily occur especially in our region. Such a hard set up to accurately predict. Absolutely fascinating though
  5. Hi all, First post for years! Can't wait for tomorrow nights event. Could be some very large temporary snow totals for some of us. Who knows where the boundary between the mild incursion and the cold will be. Good luck to you all!
  6. Be interesting to see how cold it actually gets tonight. Minus 2 here already.
  7. Got lucky here. Snowed on and off since around 4am with some heavier bursts. Still snowing now.
  8. We have very light snow with nothing showing in the radar leaving a sugar coating again. It will stick though now temperature has dropped and under darkness.
  9. I really can't complain at this Winter especially after the last two. I have seen snow falling on several days and had two decent falls. A below average January and possibly February if you look at the current models. It has been snowing on and off for nearly 12 hours now. Nothing other than a sugar dusting but nice to see. We still might have some surprises this week yet. It's a bit of a lottery but some lucky areas could do really well just like the Rugby area has so far this morning.
  10. Snowing lightly on and off here. Some heavier Bursts. Dusting in places.
  11. Got heavier here as well. Proper flakes. Enjoying a great evening watching the Superbowl and seeing snow fall
  12. Starting to stick on cars and paths now. Obviously very light at the moment but promising signs
