Yep thats what we've got in Basingstoke, nice suprise.

Lovely big flakes in Basingstoke, the roads are covered and now the wife is stressing about driving to work. Seems to be a little bit on the radar thats come from the north and effected Basingstoke, probably stop very soon and then be dry until the 2nd band comes along, hopefully it won't be rain.

If you are American, I prefer wonderous.

Sunday I will be snowhunting, would I be better off going to Dunstable downs or salisbury plain????

Hope this is the right forum. Every year I go on a snowhunt in febuary, this year it was tallinn and was a disaster. Speaking to locals i was informed this winter has been the mildest they have ever known, the tempreture was around 4 degrees all week and it rained B) last year I went up to the scottish highlands, the weather was sunny and warm B) the year before I went to oslo which was cold and sunny, again no snow. Next febuary I am going over the pond. I am currently thinking Montreal/quebec as they have lots of percipitation and it's generally below freezing, what do you experts think?? I don't want to go to a ski resort in the mountains, I want to see snow settling on roads and pavements, something I haven't seen for too long. So am I picking well or should I try around the chicago area???

My part of Hampshire had lying snow twice last winter.

I live in basingstoke, Hampshire and last year I had two days of lying snow, this year I have not seen a single flake.

Wet. Where can I moan about how bad BBC weather reports are??? Said it would be dry in basingstoke by now and wales would be suffering terrential rain, having looked at the met office radar all I can see is heavy rain over the east of endland and heavy rain in the south west heading my way but hardly any over wales, they are rather rubbish.

The rest of december will be mild, january will be mild, febuary will be mild and march will be mild but in tallinn in febuary it will be snowy and cold, luckily this is where I shall be.
