Large flakes falling and its finally sticking - everywhere is white but only a light covering. Looks like it'll stop soon looking at the radar

Very heavy snow here. Interestingly not huge flakes, perhaps 20p size but absolutely tonnes of them. Arn't the flakes usually huge in marginal situations ? I thought smaller flakes meant it was colder/less marginal..

I've been outside around the area with my mate. Had some incredibly heavy snow....around 12cm of snow has fallen here. Main roads are totally covered and there were quite a few cars that were abandoned and stuck on the roads.

Been snowing heavily here over the last few hours....not measured how much lying snow we have, but everywhere is covered including main road.....best snowfall this winter so far!

Finally the snow has got a little bit heavier here and sticking! Not sure how long this will last. Not been a good day for snow here really....had light snow for much of the morning into the afternoon but it was so thin and light it didn't really stick.

It started snowing here about 30mins ago....it's made the place white again with a dusting. Nothing like what's been happening in other parts of the midlands though!

Whilst no snow....just felt a small earthquake here with some rumbling! Thought it was thunder at first...
