At this point, I would love to thank Melton council for turning my street lighting off at 10pm...!!. Still snowing tho, amazed that its raining in Leicester.

After another day of drizzle, boots caked in mud, could we please just have some decent frosts! I`ll quite happily do without the falling white stuff (for now), even the spring bulbs are making an appearance!

Some of us need to work outside! Happy with the outcome, the sooner life is greener, the better! However, still waiting on a great beast from the east!!, there`s still another month, this year!! Currently, fairy snow and small hail. One day in my lifetime, the beast will return and I will live off my savings.... Until then, I need to work! Big up to Derbyshire for your whiteout!!!

Free world kid, the web has thousand radars, and I not spending a penny for 4 glorious days a year! I`m here, as it is free. If they want to charge, I will research on my own and in situations such as this, look out my window.

Makes sense, it was a huge region compared to others, we can always butt in on other regional threads for info! Would be nice to stay region specific.

Running my own business, has made me see snow/cold events in a whole new light. This is my first winter..... Try laying block paving when your sand is frozen solid and your customer is at the top of winding cul-de-sac! Note to self... dump the beamer estate, buy a 4x4!! Sorry if this is off topic AJ, but I now understand your dilemma!! Currently, Melton Mowbray has freezing fog, 20mm of standing snow and the car told me we never topped -4!!

Well that was just amazing.... From now on I shall be opening the curtains at dawn and finding out how the weather did overnight... Too old for this s**t, off to bed, hopefully a miracle will occur and I can sleep till lunchtime.... If not, its fenceposts at 8am... .

Daughters flat, sorry apartment (she`d have a problem with me calling it a flat and is a lurker on here!) is in central Nottingham, she`s 8 storys up and has nothing too! Meanwhile, back at the ranch.... two flakes a minute? Disappointed, but happy I can earn money tomorrow!!
