    Must say this has exceeded my expectations (although they were not that high), its been snowing here since just before 5! (north Bristol) With some heavy snow at times. Our road on a slight hill is becoming a no go zone! Cars are getting stuck and are having to reverse back down! What a winter this is turning into, and I see the Siberian high is raising his head in model land, interesting times!

    yep things still look promising, Richard Angwin at One on the radio was talking of light but persistent snow on sunday into monday, giving anything from 2-5 cm. Pretty much what Ian was saying yesterday.

    Without sounding like some kind of snow junkie, this snow seems to be of good quality, quite powdery compared to last feb! Not that im obsessed with snow or anything

    What a fantastic way to start Christmas day by viewing those wonderful charts (for cold lovers anyway). Merry Christmas everyone and thanks to the members who make such a great contribution to this thread, its been a great place to be over the last few weeks (and years) long may it continue.
