Been looking at the charts again for Thurs & Fri and I think the dam line is going to be to far north I'm down grading my earlier thoughts think the SW especially will only have rain or sleet prob only a damp squib, hope I'm wrong

Not getting much from that line of showers even though it looks like it is on top of us :wacko:

we have a mix of soft hail, sleet,snow and rain but not very heavy

Looking at the charts if they stay the same would mean lots of snow for many parts particularly Devon and Somerset and maybe Dorset could be interesting,however we all know how quickly this can change so an open mind is required!!As i see it there could be fronts near to our region for 24 hours or more midnight Weds to sometime early Fri and we would be on the correct side of these fronts ATM :huh:

snowing again here in Bridport quite big flakes and settling.Incidently if this area of snow were to rotate then could pickup energy off the channel and intesify

where are you then? In Bridport we had over 1cm

definately a downgrade,no snow anywhere on that south of M4 corridor except maybe on hills! :lol:

Ha thats the spirit, this is the most fun I have had on this forum since 2004,I was known as dorsetsnow in those days I was about member 200 then but got bored a couple of years ago and was born again!!

My advice now is for some of you to have a rest and come back in a couple of hours and calm down before the real fun begins,come on children do as your told, hee hee :lol:

Yeah basiclly but not direct more of an east /se direction imo

Got a feeling what is about on the radar is dying out for a while before it picks up again later on,the echos coming out of France to our east is what we need to be watching now IMO

Still continous light snow, we have over 1cm now but temp rising and some surfaces melting 0.5c at mo

Morning all,have had light snow on and off most of morning since about 6am accumilated to a shaky 1cm maybe with the odd 2.5cm snowdrift ,wow sorry for those of you who have had none so far im sure everyone will get some at some point,so much snow in our part of the world new it would be exciting! (sorry for the sarcastic comments!)Still could be good tonight though not going to get over excited wiil take it all with a pinch of salt had to many dissapointments over the last 25years or so a bit long in the tooth as they say!!!
