We ended up with 6.5cms of snow and have had a good 45 minutes of sledging fun on Beverley Westwood.

Is it a parrot or is it a chip?

Why has the Met Office removed it's weather warnings for Yorkshire if we are going to get snow?
-

Hi Lewis
Started snowing here. Won't be too long for you.

I know I can be pedantic at times but I see your totals for West, South & East Yorkshire but why is North Yorkshire split into North West and North East especially if you are predicting the same amounts?
I think East Yorkshire is a tad on the low side but, hey, what a nice surprise for all of us if it comes off and it is looking increasingly likely!!

There seems to be a fair amount of white stuff up there.
Hope it can make landfall. Wind has been NNW much of the day.

Looks like we may be getting an unexpected surprise for inland Lincolnshire & East Yorkshire??

Just been watching the 3rd Round FA Cup reply - Bristol City v. Cardiff.
It's in Welsh and on Ch S4C which is 134 if you have SKY HD but the funny thing is watching the professional footballers trying to play football in a snow storm.
I think if they played for 2 whole days neither team would score a goal!!

Just a reminder that a Netweather 5 minute radar subscription is just £3.49 per month or £23.95 for a year and is very good value.
