best snow this winter for us here, roads were very dangerous last night, had at least 4 attempts at the hill to my house until I gave up and walked. Go to bed and its like a winter wonderland, wake up and its like a spring day with nearly all the snow gone :/ will try and put some photos up when i take them off my phone later

snowing rather heavy here in north west norfolk and beginning to settle. was rather surprised with the covering we got last night too. it seemed just a six mile wide area around here got the snow last night, main roads WERE NOT EVEN GRITTED! anyone got an idea on how long i should expect this to last?? many thanks

what would be my chances of snow this evening?? im 6 miles inland at 63m asl on the nw norfolk coast(1 of the highest points in norfolk) its been cold here all day, current temp is 0.5c we still have laying snow from thursday/friday im amazed when looking at the 10 day outlook for my area, 7 days out of 10 have a snow risk greater than 60%, hopefully this is a very good sign of things to come. any reply regarding this question would be greatly appreciated

TEITS as its snowing in peterborough still, how long do reckon myself in NW Norfolk is going to see the snow continue?? im at work and havent had the chance to see the forecast or models. is this feature currently giving me snow in my location going to stay for a while longer?? and what direction is it heading?? and the BIG question.........is it likely to continue as snow or revert back to sleet/rain?? i would appreciate any sort of reply

was very surprised to wake up to a few inches of snow this morning here in NW Norfolk. gfs snow risk yesterday gave us a 22% chance of snow today and we got it! very foggy now, just hoping the temps drop below freezing to conserve the snow we have left. currently 1-2 degrees. as gfs gives us a 70% chance of snow tommorow i expect to see nothing what realistic chance do we have here for snow?? got a feeling we're going to be well north of this system that might possibly affect us tommorow. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

well i'm very disgruntled all that snow we was supposed to get came to nothing,now looks like we have next to no chance again with the next potential event. Think I might book a week away to Trondheim to see the family and some real winter weather. Family in norway called this evening and found it hilarious with regard to our country's poor handling of winter conditions. it'll be my luck that i will go there and it will snow here lol

this has to be the coldest day for us during this cold spell. woke up to -6 at 9am and temp hasnt reached any higher than -4.7 all day. with the slight breeze it is raw outside, feel sorry for all the ducks on the pond with a lack of water to swim in.

slight problem with viewing charts. when looking at gfs charts i can see everything up to t96, any charts after that dont display and i just get the little box with the red cross in it ive tried refreshing the page but to no avail.... probly not much point looking at the charts beyond t96 anyway lol
