    funny, remember that big green hole in the met office warning yesterday(for the midlands), or itv weather at 10.30 last night "sleet in the south mids with a sunny afternoon" i'm going for another walk....the dog isnt going to be happy

    thats one of the things i remember in cold/snow snaps when i was a kid, i've just been out, roads are dead ,snow coming down and getting foggy,,,,loverly

    well this morning, here 10 miles south west of brm was stunning, i have been driving since the early 80s but have never seen so many cars spinning out and and having such a battle with the snow, at one point the whole town ground to a halt as some cars struggled to get up the slightest incline, i know some hate it but i love it,shame about the car smashed up down my road though. so ding ding when does round two start

    just dont start singing 'walking in a winter wonderland' as you'll find it will get stuck in your head and drive you mad.

    2 maby 3 inches of snow in under a hour, wow, roads look real bad. and there was me expecting sleet, slowing a tad now but showers look good for later

    just had a light shower here, just like the weather gods shaking a pepper pot, very localized , down the road nothing, but stuck to the road no problem even at 3 deg

    3 deg here, but i'm looking on the bright side, the bank at the back of my house is almost pure mud, i will soon be able to sledge down it

    OMG i want to be a weather forcaster, how hard can it be, tomorow its going to be sunny but it may be cloudy....or not

    it is getting a bit much now lol, every time you look at the tv its snow snow snow, we have been so unlucky in the west mids (or lucky if your a snow hater) we have had weather from the east, north, west and south and yet we are dry, these things do go in swings and roundabout's though so sooon maby, in the meantime though, anyone got any wheels i can glue onto my sledge??

    yep seems a waste, i look south big black clouds comming, look north blue sky, temp dropped from 2 to 0 , if only eh, 10 miles south of brum

    im about 12 miles west of redditch, we did have dark clouds but now the sun has come back lol tbh you do have to see the funny side reading these posts, i want a bit of snow as much as anyone, but if it's not happening, hey hit the wine

    so much doom and gloom, within the next 4 days we will all see snow, then we can go out and party, got my sledge today 3 quid, and i'm ready to roll,just wait a little longer

    indeed, i remember from the good old days snow,frost fog,,,,,snow frost, fog,,,coooold,two foot icicles dangling from the trees and houses. been fun what we have had this year but not like the 'old days'....gets pipe anyways last night we had heavy snow/slush but did not stick, this morning it is almost spring like, birds are singing, sun is out, and not a grain of snow in sight,,,,,just about managed to survive the big storm last night

    i likes the snow,,, but could do with a little rest from it now, been stuck on the snow/ice twice today(mondeos are so bad even with traction controll) at one point i got out the car and said to the mrs 'im going now i might be gone some time'

    snowing light but steady here in kiddy, just come back from clent hills, like a carnival up there, couldnt get the car up by the old arcade though roads were a nightmare, but have defrosted enough to drive up now

    news 24 again, met told local bbc to expect heavy snow 6-7 oclock, birmingham area
