sorry mate, couldnt resist........ quite nice in the sun, still a dusting of snow laying in shaded areas.........may try make a snowball, lol -
No chance of any here in SE Essex with the wind flow as it is at the moment, the wind is Northerly or ever so slightly NWesterly meaning showers will hit Norfolk and die out over Suffolk, or keep offshore and continue to hit the sticky out part of Kent.
If the wind does not change then no chance of any showers here today I am afraid.

Maybe, the snowgods support Spurs???
I hope not, if thats the case I wont expect to see snow for another 50 years at least..............bit like Spurs fans waiting for a league title

I can see the showers hitting the Margate, Ramsgate area of Kent, so near but yet so far

Just a dusting for Rochford overnight, better then nothing so that will do for the start of 2010

Just started snowing lightly in Hornchurch, Essex.

Happy New Year everyone...... we had a 5 min snow shower more or less bang on Midnight here in Rochford, Essex..... good start to the new year, hope it continues

Seriously ignore the BBC forecasts beyond 2 days. All the models are pointing to freezing cold weather, with the potential for snow come monday and tuesday.
Do you think there will be enough moisture around? Not going to stay in this so called dry cold air are we? Hope you are right and things start to happen

It was supposed to start when this low pressure pulled away and dragged in cold north east winds with snow , we keep doing this EVERY time there is a cold/snow spell... Tomorrow looks great! ,this weekend looks good , next week looks great . I'll stick to a day to day basis

Excellent show of lightening, hail and rain here in Rochford, loved the way the clouds rolled in, havent a formation do that for years. Roads well flooded now.

Starting to see the top of something now Neil, so hazy though, pinky/orange colour , very warm and only a slight breeze

You'd need to be atleast as far south as rochester , gillingham e.t.c to see the top of it... I live slightly further south than that and can just make out the cell structure.
Ah, well least I got some hope, I will keep looking out for your updates to give me an idea what maybe coming or maybe not, lol
