    Saw the start of that storm that is now heading through north essex, rumbles every 10 seconds, sounds huge, all I had out of it was some heavy rain drops, lol, oh well, looking south again

    Choas here in Rochford, Ive just seen someone walking along the road with an umbrella up, the snow is getting that bad!! (sarcasm if you hadnt realised) Large ish flakes mind you, shame ground is soaking wet

    Hardly anything here now in Rochford, just a couple of cms in shelted places, rain washed most of it away and the sun will probably melt the rest today, lol, heres to more snow later in the week

    Just been outside and cant believe how quick its thawing, dripping from all places, down to about 3cm -4 cms, from 8-9cm this afternoon, even the snowman is melting quicker then i thought he would :lol:

    Rain is lighter now, but has eaten into the snow, lost a few cms, looking a slushy mess on the road and paths. Cant believe its still snowing in London, lol

    yes mate, this rain is eating into the snow slowly, gone very slushy on paths etc, disappearing off the roofs, shame. My other halfs mum lives in Leigh and she said what you been saying, funny how a few miles apart and its different, not paying living out in the country today, lol

    Proper rain now here in Rochford, snow disappearing quickly in places........least we look like we might have Arshavin, not that he will make much difference to this seasons Premier, lol

    Just been out with the tape, got an average 9-10cms here on table, cars, bins etc, light drizzle for the last 30mins, snow starting to disappear on car windows and the road/paths> You have done well this morning Paul after the non event down your way last night, lol

    More or less stopped now in Rochford, happy with what we got mind you, id say 7 or 8 cm on grass and cars etc. Seems to be a break in the radar, not sure if we will get anymore other then the dreaded rain now

    Sleet stuff has now turned back to heavy snow, and its settling in places, now this is better, hope it lasts!

    Wet snow has turned to sleet in the last 10 mins, what was laying on the ground is turning to a wet slush, not looking good here in Rochford, but not surprised
