    haha, south and east Essex has had rain since the early hours non stop, some of it very heavy as you can see

    Doesn't surprise me - used to live near that bridge and have never seen it that bad.. My station has recorded 92.4mm so far and looking at some of the pictures coming in a few miles east/west of Rayleigh I don't think its far off.. We've been stuck under the main intense zone from around midday and it hasn't stopped at all. No, even the seafront has flooded hasn't it, and the tides out, lol

    Area of rain approaching from the south towards my neck of the woods, no sign of any thunder or lightening though

    More heavy rain here currently, with a few rumbles of thunder in the distance

    Woke up by a 30min storm at 2.30am and now awake again at 5.30am as more flashes and thunder are to my north and east. Very heavy rain through the night, well needed rain might I add
