    still light snow here, dont think its stopped for hours. hoping it turns heavy again soon, but im really just being greedy

    typical really. I wait 25 years for a semi final, city finally get to one, and it'd get called off

    yeah it is. problem is, its the semi final tomorrow (city vs united) and i really wouldnt be surprised if that games called off. im LOVING this winter so far

    Well I tried to get into work today, but couldnt as the buses have been cancelled never seen so much snow in my life, must be 10+ inches at least. are we due anymore today, its still snowing lightly here (wythenshawe)

    Well, never seen so much snow in my life, and its still coming down gonna set off to work in a second, although i doubt i'll get in as im on public buses but must try Been told the buses are not running in Manchester. Can anyone confirm?

    bleeding hell, i wake up just now to find a good 7/8+ cm, possibly 10cms and belting down still is this even the main event as i thought that wasnt due til later on

    can see the heavy precip clouds that must be over bury way hoping it drifts south manchester way! looks like it could, will find out in 30 mins or so

    Stick Wythenshawe on the lower end of the scale <_< although to be fair, we've not done badly out of this cold spell at all, must be into nearly the 3rd week of lying snow/ice (although only slight patches were left before Saturday morning)

    whatever it is... i like snow, but im sick of it now thankfully im off work for a week and a half now so can enjoy the scene tomorrow without having to struggle in it to work have to go to bury though... but its not looking likely at the moment if this keeps up

    easily 6cm has fallen in wythenshawe and thats on top of the 3cm of snow/ice left over

    hi all the snow ruined my works xmas do, hammering it down and still is if this keeps up, wythenshawe is getting well over 10cm's in the morning, must be at least 4cm there already

    So more snow for us tonight then? I can foresee nightmares getting home from my Christmas work party tonight if thats the case Manchester has resembled Russia the last few days, a great cold spell, but I'm getting sick of having to walk around very slowly everywhere :winky:

    would be nice although i must say, after 3/4 days of snow, im getting sick of slipping over on my way to work buses werent even coming through regularly this evening after work, and i work in Hulme! had to get someone to come and pick me up

    was todays hammering of snow even forecasted? we got more from today than we did on sunday (although alot of it seems to be slush now) but still a nice winter snow wonderland all over the roads and gardens... my back garden must have at least two inches left, and its starting to freeze over

    Evening all What a great day! And it came as a compete surprise. I got into work (Hulme) at 10am, went outside for a smoke at 11.30, and there was a winter wonderland scene outside, at least an inch on the floor and a whiteout. Shame its thawed out a bit, but really, we've had 3/4 days of snow, so cant complain Took me forever to get home too
