  1. The main roads are ok Mick at least at the moment. I think we have three more hours of this fine stuff before it clears to the north.
  2. coming down heavier now in Bexleyheath! my ungritted side road on a hill is white!
  3. being snowing lightly here since 530am have about 1.5 cm. the band is not really moving at all on the radar so I think we could get a fair bit if it keeps going!
  4. anyone else noticed the new colour key for the precip type looks quite interesting for later on.
  5. yes most definately you have 'snow fade' where there is simply too much precip between your dish and the satellite !!!
  6. find yourself on streetmap zoom in and certain map types (ordnance survey ) have height contour lines on them...
  7. sleet has arrived. hope it might turn as the precip intensfies
  8. temp dropping again here after peaking at 2c now 1.8c. cant do dewpoint as not at home! light snow flurries continuing....
  9. havent had much here over night about 1cm if that..... showers all around me but missing my location by a few miles. Just had about 5 mins of mediocure flakes. Radar looks interesting though a biy further east into kent or essex and its fun and games!

  13. Kerry, Dartford is not too bad at the mo, maidstone has had a few inches Iwade probably quite a bit!
  14. just woken up by my weather station low temp alarm -5.0c at 755am Looks like some pecip heading for us Steve. gosh defo no roof work for me today,

  16. The radar usually runs 10-15 mins behind not the 5 mins that is claimed..... it is a good tool though! I wouldnt be without mine
