the london cell seems to have changed direction from wnw to ene and is now heading back towards me!! hopefully

I have lightning to my west... and some loud crashe and bangs :lol:

I can see several cells to my se and to my ne... they are poping up on the radar

yeah but its heading your way maidstone! well north west ish :lol:

just got back from driving in the van, noticed many tc's popping up, hoping for some action a little later this arvo, although Im goin to watch the planes up at biggin hope it wont spoil things too much

We had a blinding chase this evening. Started off in Crayford heading north toward all cells that were tracking down the Thames, I had to go to Eltham SE9 and whilst there giving a quote a cell intensified and the heavens opened together with a great light show and thunder we then chased the storm all the way down the A2 to Cobham being caught in some of the heavest rain/hail showers I have ever encountered. We then turned back along through Norhfleet to Dartford before deciding not to go into Essex due to time constrants (and the £2 van toll)

was just looking at a big cell due east of me in Bexleyheath, must be the Margate one shame its going the wrong way!

temps started falling after my previous posts a few hourd ago currently 0.9c dew -0.2c snow now everywhere the roads are all white with no gritting being done! looks like da7 is right in the middle ofthe last heavy bit of precip!

sorry to spoil the party but I think the precip is starting to loose its intensity on the radar .

Nice beach balls! my temps have gone up a bit 1.3c dew -0.2 still moderate wet snow coming down

temps dropping more now 1.3c dew -0.6c still coming down nicely with big flakes

big flakes here now settling on cars etc will give a temp update when back home as am at my folks at present!

light snow/sleety stuff here temps are 2.4c dew 0.0c looking favorable for tonight

temps rising.... 3.1/2.5c now

temp is 'stuck' at 2.9c dewpoint has risen a bit to 2.3c :- ( still heavy rain

temps quite high here at mo 2.9c dew 2.0c mostly rain falling with the occasional 'splodge'

temps improving..... if we dont run out of precip... now 0.4c and dew is -0.6c :o

just got in from pub... snowing quite heavly again.. temps 0.5c dew -0.3c better than earlier!

last temp report from me before I go down the pub! temp has stablised at 0.9c with a dew point of 0.3c which are unfortunately too high. Anyway hopefully the temps go lower later on and we get dome more precip. cheers Mike.
